Art prompts offer a picture that is started for the student to finish. These can be fun for the natural artist or one less confident in their art skills. I liked the variety of the big book (078111): drawing a face with correct proportions, coloring flowers using only oranges/yellows, draw something made of glass on a pedestal. Simple art principles are shown, along with bits about famous artists and art history. The other books offer more focused, yet still open-ended creative opportunities.
