Fencing Lessons

This resource helps to provide teenagers with the truths of the Christian faith and the ability to apply God's Word. Using the Ephesians 6 imagery of the Sword of the Spirit, each lesson is manageable, but solid study includes four portions: Sword Drill (learning about and memorizing Bible books); Sword Play (games and puzzles to hide God's Word in students' hearts); Fencing Practice (short study on passage used in Sword Play); and Thrust and Parry (the key part of the lesson, applying God's Word-including Scripture memory and prayer). Lessons are brief, distilled to highlight core tenets of the Christian faith, so you can add personal denominational beliefs when and where you desire. Topics start with a close look at God's character and attributes. The second half studies the "Roman Road" (the path to salvation) and Christian living. Quotations use KJV and ESV, but usable with any preferred Bible version. The text is 275 pgs, pb; Answer Key is 35 pgs, pb. ~ Ruth
