Chronicles Of Narnia Study Guides

Description

The study guides for The Chronicles of Narnia are written very similarly to other Christian Novel Studies guides, although each guide is designed to take about two weeks to complete, and most books are covered two chapters at a time. Each chapter group in the study guide features pre-reading, during reading, vocabulary, discussion, writing, literature analysis, life application and extension activities. Answers are found at the end of each chapter group in the guide. Although the single guides are still available, author Chris Roe has now compiled all seven guides into an 8 ½" x 11" spiral-bound volume as well if you are planning on studying the entire Chronicles of Narnia anyway. Although you could finish all seven in about a semester, Chris Roe recommends that you may want to study the Chronicles of Narnia for a year, as a reading and Bible program. To tie into Bible, she recommends A Family Guide to Narnia: Biblical Truths in C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia (listed in our Library Builders section). If you choose to go this route, a suggested format for year-long study is provided at the beginning of the compiled volumes. Two versions of the combined volumes are available; one contains only the study guide content and one contains the study guide content with reproducible student activity sheets at the end, based on activities provided in the guide. Please note that #33316 is the bundle of seven guides, not a combined volume. - Jess
