Description
This throwback educational device is great for helping children learn how to spell better in a fun and enjoyable way. Originally sold and used in the 70's and 80's, Speak and Spell is still just as effective today as it was back then. There are five different play modes included that the user could select to better improve spelling. These include modes that are simpler such as spelling words after hearing them, pronouncing words on the screen, and hearing each letter of a word pronounced. Some modes are more complex, however, and include guessing the right word from a given number of letter tiles or receiving secret codes after entering a word in the device. Whatever a child's preferred mode is, Speak and Spell will undoubtedly help improve spelling and pronunciation as they learn in an engaging way.
