Animal Upon Animal Game
Kids love to stack things; why not animals? Using the single alligator as the base, players try to stack their 7 animals on the common stack without causing a collapse. Play is determined based on roll of the die, which can dictate stacking 1 or 2 animals of your choice, putting an animal next to the alligator to increase the size of the base, giving an animal to another player who has to place it, or having other players decide which animal you must play next. Animals are about one-third of an inch deep and some are ridged to allow for better stacking. Various options for penalties and winning are listed, but the game lends itself to making “house rules” as well. Game takes approx. 15 minutes. 2-4 players.
