Corn even feels like corn whether your eyes are open or closed - which is good, because corn sure doesn't look like corn when your eyes are closed. When you can't see, you have to rely on your other senses - and in this game, your only sense will be the sense of touch. Oh, it won't be your only working sense, but it will be the only sense you can rely on. Make any sense? The game is centered on a round container. Into this container go 49 highly detailed, three dimensional, plastic play pieces. The 20 theme cards are placed picture side down at the designated intervals around the container. The first player turns the container so that the observation window is facing away, and the only thing he can see is the black-vinyl shrouded opening where his hand will go. He then spins the spinner ring around the bottom of the container to "draw" a card. When the spinner stops, the player turns over the card and must put his hand into the container and try to find the pieces pictured on the card. He has thirty seconds. The timer is located on the top of the container - don't be distracted by its loud ticking or its swift countdown. The object of the game is to gather as many playing pieces to complete sets (there are 2-4 related pictures on each card) and to obtain the corresponding theme cards. The final round of the game throws in a new challenge - all the play pieces are returned to the container, the timer is set, and each player has 30 seconds to reach in and correctly identify as many pieces as he can, for extra points. Sets and pieces are all worth points, and the player with the most points wins.
