This book was wonderful! My 4th grader and I learned together side by side! This was a great book to share and we WILL use this book over and over! I can't wait to see what we discover when we turn the page! I would reccommend this book no matter what curriculum you use!
Michelle T. from Buda, TX wrote the following on 02/28/2009:
I purchased the entire line of products and have been quite pleased. My daughter hated history before we started using these materials. She is 13 now and has loved history since we started these books. It is a very thorough and complete history curriculum. The time line is helpful, but not necessary. Each chapter has a list of suggested activities/assignments to go with it. They range from art projects, to oral reports, to written papers and many things in between. It could easily be used to create your own unit studies. Everything is presented in a detailed and interesting way. Very thought provoking and accurate. It does discuss darwinism versus creationism, but is handled quite well and is a great starting point for emphasizing your faith and finding out where your child is in theirs. Overall, this is a great buy!
