This inexpensive CD contains a number of printable forms to help make your home schooling as organized and pain-free as possible. About 70 pages are included for planning, pricing, locating and scheduling curriculum, scheduling daily lessons and assignments, making an 180 days at-a-glance subject planner, scheduling daily lessons, keeping a reading record, and setting life goals. Also includes templates for logging grades, creating report cards, making a general high school planner or high school science lab chart, and a form for students to use when writing a book report. A bonus document includes step-by-step instructions for creating your own yearbook pages. All forms and templates are available as Microsoft Word documents and Adobe Acrobat files. I think this is a great value! The forms come in PDF and in Word formats - meaning you can print them out and fill them in by hand. Or (this is what makes me happy) I can type my information into the template in Word and save and print out a neat-looking document. Definitely worth the $5.

Well, I was really excited to get this in the mail today. I've spent weeks downloading free PDF's, scouring the web, and trying to come up with my own systems.
Unfortunately, it was a let down when I popped the disc in. Not only are these all charts I could have easily made on my own, the formatting is plain and (dare I say it) boring. I did print out the book report forms, and the student goals forms, but I don't know that I will use any of the other documents on the disc. The week-at-a-glance form is going to be unnecessarily wasteful, as a student agenda would cover the same things with more emphasis & room to write assignments out. The report cards were ok. The rest of the forms are just filler in my opinion. Get the other disc that costs a little more.

This CD of forms is a simple and great place to start for your homeschool organizing needs. The forms are simple in format so that you can customize them to your liking. There are no graphics or fancy borders so that you can adapt them to the needs of each child and add any graphics or pictures you would like from your own clip art program or word processing extras. The pdf versions, of course, cannot be altered but the Word files can be. Use these as templates and have fun making more forms just the way you need them! For the price, this is a great bargain!
