Homeschool Co-ops
Many of our homeschool families belong to a co-op, but what if you live in an area where there aren’t any? You have two options - you can go it alone, or you can start a co-op that will benefit you and other homeschool families. This book offers a realistic, step-by-step approach to starting a co-op.
Part one of the book tells you the benefits and disadvantages of co-ops, different types of co-ops, scheduling meetings, and naming your co-op. Part two of the book tells you how to run a homeschool co-op through choosing leadership, what to offer through your co-op, money management, volunteer management and working through conflict. The third and shortest part of this book deals with burnout. It’s no little task to homeschool your children and an even greater task to start and run a co-op at the same time - know the signs.
This book is written from a Christian perspective and offers encouraging and pertinent scriptures throughout the book. Homeschool Co-Ops is a great tool and guide to get your co-op started. 173 pages, pb. Donna
