We have enjoyed drawing with Bruce McIntyre’s step-by-step method and clear instruction. Drawing starts so simply that even the youngest students will be able to participate. Skills are mastered in a series of 222 drawing exercises that teach the seven basic principles of drawing: surface, size, surface lines, overlapping, shading, density, and foreshortening.

I have spent alot of time looking at art programs and having been under instruction for 10 years I knew what I wanted but couldn't find it. Well, now I have! This book will get everyone on their way to being great with a pencil, to expressing themselves visually. These easy step by step instructions can be done alone or in a group. For young children it will provide many many lessons. For older, it can be completed in a year. After this book you'll need a ream of plain paper and any pencil/charcoal pencil. I say join the kids and learn to draw. There is very little prep involved. Enjoy!
