This is the first set of clay tools we bought. They are plastic but very sturdy and have lasted for 3 years. They are easy to clean. (Much easier to clean than the butter knife we were using before we bought clay tools.) The tips are blunt and safe for young elementary kids. The scraper will get clay (or silly putty!) off desks and chairs and tables. I think they are a great value especially since they have lasted for so many years.
