Kathy A. from Southeast Wisconsin wrote the following on 06/19/2007:
When searching for an American history book which was similar in literary style to V.M. Hillyer's "A Child's Story of the World" I came across this particular book. This book is written in the same style as Hillyer's and covers American history from Columbus to the Clinton presidency. The book is written in a gentle manner with the emphasis that America was founded, molded and shaped by people of the Christian faith.

Along with the Pathway Readers, these were perfect for my son. Both of my children used this little series as well as many other readers from CLP. The stories are realistic and sweet. We love just about everything from this publilsher!
