Jenni R. from Ohio wrote the following on 01/27/2009:
This was an amazing book. My son read this book as part of our curriculum this year. It's a story about a boy who is filled with vengeance and hatred because the Romans killed his father, and Jerusalem is under siege. He is so overcome with this hatred, he isolates everyone around him. But through the love of Jesus, he comes to understand what love really is. I cried over the last few pages, because the story so beautifully portrays what happens to one's heart when we let Jesus in. My son asked me to read it to him every single day. The story was so intriguing, that he was completely drawn in, and wanted to know what would happen next. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone.
