The phonetic readers loved by beginning readers are now available with added color! The illustrations in this version feature small splashes of color in the same shade as that book’s cover. Although only small bits of one shade of color accentuate the illustrations, the effect does make them "pop" more than the illustrations in the original Bob Books. A perfect way to make a great series even better.

Both of my daughters have enjoyed reading from these books. Most books I found for early readers were either overwhelming or boring. These books bring giggles and are the perfect level for early independent reading. My younger daughter was somewhat reluctant about reading until she had her first successful experience with the Bob Books. Now she's excited about it, and she was thrilled to receive her next set from Rainbow!
