One of my serious attempts was a study on the Olympics designed to correspond (surprisingly!) with the celebration of the event, and Amanda Bennett was there to hold my hand - figuratively, of course. My dog-eared manual is now a historical relic, but her wisdom and guidance lives on in a computer generation-friendly version - Adobe PDF files. You can print chapters, forms, ideas, resource lists, timelines, notebook pages, etc. as you build and create your own unit studies. I love all of Amanda Bennett's unit studies!! We have them all, and my favorite is the Christmas one! I enjoy her studies because it digs deep into any of the subjects she is teaching, I enjoy being able to teach all 3 of my different aged children with the same subject at the same time!! That's a huge plus for me! All of her studies are very detailed! They are not very expensive! And you can do year after year as your child grows because his age limit will change and you could teach different things every year! I just love her unit studies!!
