This workbook uses a series of mini-books to introduce young students to words beginning with all of the letters from A to Z. There is a mini-book for each letter, and when constructed (a process which is very simple - simply copy, cut, fold, and staple), the books are eight pages long. Each mini-book follows the same format. Throughout the eight pages, it presents four different key words beginning with the featured letter. For example, the letter “A” book is called “An Alligator.” Students are acquainted with the words “alligator,” “ape,” “apples,” and “ants” as they flip through the pages. These words are eventually joined together in a one sentence story, and students can trace the letters throughout the book as well as color the pictures.
