These are so cool! I’m sitting here thinking, "Kids these days get to have some of the coolest stuff." The World map is quite literally covering my desk - and another thought runs through my mind, "I wish that I had been able to have maps like these when I was a kid." Geography was my favorite subject; now I can only imagine the possibility that I could have liked it even more - unbelievable. These molded plastic maps are in 3-D. The land in both is raised above the level of the oceans, and mountain ranges are raised even higher again. The world map shows all the political boundaries, with the names of the countries and capitals all printed clearly. Only continents are depicted - even large island groups such as Hawaii are not shown. The US map shows states and capitals as well as significant features from around the country. Each of these features is reproduced again in 3-D on the border of the map with a caption telling what is significant about it. All in all, these colorful, plastic maps will be a big hit every time.
