If you live in California and are required to test your children, these books will be invaluable tools in your classroom. Aligned specifically to the standards set forth by the state, these books offer preparation and practice for that specific test. The state standards for each subject are presented, broken down into individual components and skills and written in easy-to-understand terms. Practice worksheets follow for each specific component, with all questions written in appropriate testing language. Once all of the parts of a standard have been covered, a small mini-test combines them to assess students’ ability. “How Am I Doing?” pages measure if the student has mastered the concepts or needs additional practice before moving on to the next standard.
