FIAR is the main curriculum I use with both my children. We move a lot, including internationally, and it's easier to just own the books.

My 5 and 3 year-old have really enjoyed FIAR Volume 1, and to be honest, so have I! It's been a wonderful way to teach a wide variety of subjects and open new doors to a bigger world right here at home. I am so thankful for the sweet memories of cuddling up on the couch with my children and exploring these literary classics that have found their way into our home and hearts. Here's to many more days of exploring the world through literature!

We did Five In a Row Volume One and got each book from the library or interlibrary loan. It was very economical, but over the course of the year we realized that each of the books was so good we wanted to own it and read it again and again. This time around, we're just going to get the literature pack!

We have gone through Vol 1 of FIAR and absolutely loved it! My daughter is one that does not like to read a book more than once, but was quite happy to read the FIAR books for the five days suggested. I must say I enjoyed reading the books too and the FIAR Manual was full of great ideas and enjoyable learning. Would recommend FIAR.

Are these books hardback of soft cover?
A shopper on Jan 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: A mix of softcover and hardcover. Predominantly softcover, is my recollection.
