I am extremely pleased with this latest edition of Mystery of History! We have gone through both Volumes I and II this past year as a supplement to our world history studies We were just leaving the medieval era when this book became available for purchase! My children think it is so much nicer - and I do too It is a beautiful colorful hardback book - a great improvement over the black and white paperback volumes preceding it As our family does not use all the extraneous material (activities and such) - it makes it far more manageable for us to use as a supplement My children are enjoying it far more than Volumes I and II The changes do make the materials more costly now - but also more flexible to use The use of color in the book makes it ever so much more interesting to read and enjoy! We are sold on Mystery of History!

Although the book is beautiful it had no student activities at the end of each lesson no quizzes no worksheets and no tests These are now included in the Companion Guide which is available on CD but a separate purchase This Companion Guide will ultimately be available in paper form but expected date of availability is unknown Additionally the main book is now hardback I am very disappointed with the changes

3rd year of Mystery of History
This is our 3rd. Year of using Mystery of History. We have completed V1 and V2. The reason we have stuck with this series is bc we love reading the stories. History is much more fun and memorable when it is a story instead of a bunch of facts to remember. Instead of doing the suggested activities we have discussions about what we read. The new format is great! I love having all the text in a book with beautifully colored pictures.

Loving our MOH
We recently purchased the MOH V3 set mid year as I was unhappy with our current program. I have an older, middle and younger student using this curriculum. This meets everyone's needs and is more than adequate to satisfy requirements at all levels. We enjoy the full color text and how the information is laid out. It is easily everyone's favorite subject. I believe history as a subject can and should be enjoyable and engaging- this fits the bill for our family.

Simple & profound
Thoroughly researched, yet all information presented at an easy read level. When some actions don't make sense, God's word and His sovereignty shine above all. Love the hard cover format with beautiful pictures to complement lessons.

My children, 3rd and 7th grade, are doing World History this year. I wanted a chronological history that told the history of the world, while including which Biblical events were going on. I have always wanted to learn what was going on all over the world at the same time, as opposed to what was going on in one place over all of time.
Heather on Jul 5, 2017
Mystery of History gives a great overview of the world's and Christian history combined. The lessons are easy to read and understand and the projects are fun to do. We have thoroughly enjoyed the first two books and are very much looking forward to studying the third one.
Pavlina D on Jul 3, 2017
"God centered History curriculum. Our group recommends Story of the World, but my son didn't like it, and it didn't seem very thorough.
Andrea N on Jun 30, 2017
I am excited about the hard cover book with color pictures. Mystery of History focuses on the biblical portion of this time period, which is a must in our homeschool. So many important things happened during this time and I want my kids to clearly know what god was doing in His church during this time. I also love that the author includes history from the whole world, rather than only western history.
Kristen D on Apr 24, 2017
We used vols. 1 & 2 and enjoyed both. Met the author at a HS convention in Cinti and she was kind and informative. Really like seeing what various things were going on in the world at the same time. Truly eye opening. Gives you a better view of life at that time from a Christian perspective.
Leslie T on Mar 30, 2017
Easy way to teach chronological history from a Christian perspective. Written in a way that is interesting for upper elementary/middle school students to enjoy.

This is an excellent history program for a family school setting! We have learned more with this program than any other we've tried. Activities for different age groups helps to solidify the information being learned. I also love the fact that biblical and world history are combined in this series.
