Description

This is the ideal journal to introduce kids to writing about themselves. The book has blanks for students to fill in (lines are .75" with a dotted midline) with some of their favorite things. For example, My name is ____. My favorite color is ____. Some fill-ins are brief; others are lengthier, providing variety. Plenty of space is provided for kids to draw pictures of their favorite things as well. Other activities include coloring pictures based on preference (for example, pictures of places are given and kids color the place where they most like to be). Sometimes kids are prompted to draw what they like and then color it. 140 mini star stickers are included, which students can use to spice up the pages or to mark off on a chart when pages are completed. A great way to introduce children to the joys of journaling, and strengthen handwriting and drawing practice. 64 pgs, pb. ~ Rachel
