Description

Knowledge in a box? Cool! Sign me up! Learn about letters and sounds as you play with these 250 photo puzzle pieces. The pieces fit simply end to end, so little learners can connect them easily. Made of sturdy cardboard, each piece is about 2x2" with a simple, rectangular "outie" and "innie" on opposite sides to fit them together. Upper and lower case letters are included along with the photo pieces. Instructions give ideas such as connecting the letters in alphabetical order, or choose a letter and link up pictures of things that begin with that letter like "L" with a lion and lemon. You could match upper and lower case letters or lay out a series of letters and pull one out, then ask kids to tell you what is missing. Sort photos by one syllable or two. Group them by long vowel sounds and short vowels sounds, or find all photo cards where the words end in a d sound. There are even more ideas in the inside! Use these with your special learners too. Supports NAEYC standards to strengthen alphabet skills. Comes in a nice box for storage. ~ Sara
