This plan book is so easy to use It has the lay-out I prefer with the subjects down the side days of the week across the top It has plenty of sections for many subjects or as in my case I was able to use 1 book for 2 children The book cover has convenient flaps for writing in each subject heading These flaps act as 'bookmarks' for keeping me on the right page and also for 'keeping everything in' as I like to stick keepsakes (eg drawings poems cards award certificates etc) in the book at the point it was made or received Very sturdy Well worth the price

This plan book has the days of the week across the top which I prefer but there is no place down the left side for the subject There are subject flaps that are part of the cover (this feature was not in the product description) I find these flaps frustrating and awkward to continually deal with - they don't lay flat and the flap on the left covers up "Monday" Nevertheless there is plenty of room for writing and enough blocks for ten subjects or activities The book is lined which is great but with so much going on on one page the "darker" line that separates the subjects is not distinct enough Considering convenience and clarity this plan book seemed difficult to use

This planner has a flap that you write down the subjects one time and just flap it to the week you are on. No more having to do it every time you turn a page! I buy one for each kid. For younger kids, I write down assignments they are to do and they cross it off as it's completed. For older, more independent students, I have them write down what the did after they did it. Great way to keep accountability for all my kids work. I even record individual activities, field trips, music/sports etc.
