Description

There are several reasons why this expansion will make playing Parks even more fun! First, there are 24 new Park cards that are added to the deck that give players flexibility with the required resources needed to visit a park, AND these add an immediate benefit when you visit the park. For example, there might be a requirement of two mountains and ANY other two resources to visit a park, AND an immediate benefit of trading one resource to take a picture. There are two other great additions to this game. First, the introduction of campsites adds new options and benefits. As players move along the trail, some of the trail sites will have a tent icon above them. When a player lands on one of those sites, there will be a choice between receiving the actions and benefits on that site OR using a camp token to visit one of the available campsites. These campsites give players some benefits not available on the trail. Examples of some of these are: turn in a mountain token to gain five sun tokens, gain a canteen and water token or turn in two sun tokens to discard the three available gear cards to the bottom of the gear deck and replace them with new available gear cards and take an available gear card for free. Also, the “year” cards (that are used for personal bonuses) are replaced with new cards. Players still receive one of these cards at the beginning of the game, but during the game, there will be other opportunities for them to gain additional bonus goal cards through actions on new park cards and campsites. As with the base game, when all four seasons have been played the game ends, and the player with the most points wins. Requires the base game Parks to play. For 1-5 players, with a playtime of 40 to 70-minutes.
