Description
I have to say up front, the coloring pages here are pretty detailed sketches. An older student or even an adult would enjoy coloring the images. This book begins with a summary of the original story (not the Hollywood interpretation). The coloring pages have a lot of grayscale and would probably be best with colored pencils to create a soft finished look. Opposite each coloring page is an excerpt from the book. You won't find Judy Garland's Dorothy here, so keep that in mind. You will find the characters and story line that has been loved for generations. I like the large, horizontal format. It is a charming book, but does not feature the bold outlines you find in a child's coloring book. Printed in the USA. ~Sara
