Even before young children are ready for a serious typing program, they can begin to learn where the keys are and build typing proficiency while playing games. In this animated software, kids join young Mavis and her dog, Dizzy, at her grandparents’ house. Kids can choose an indoor or outdoor activity to complete by typing the correct letters. When kids start the program, the screen shows just one letter at a time, all uppercase. This makes it possible for even non-readers to use the program just by matching the letters to the ones on the keyboard. As children progress, they will advance to words and even complete sentences as they help Mavis bake a pie, give her dog a bath, and more. A progress feature allows you to track the progress of over twenty different kids.
