Description

Solar beads, true to name, come alive in vibrant colors when exposed to UV light. Indoors, the beads are almost whitebut as soon as they come into contact with the sun or a UV black light / flashlight, they turn into brilliant shades of blue, purple, red, and more. When taken back out of the sun, they turn white again. This kit comes with everything you need to make a UV-sensitive bracelet and a few experiments to learn about UV light. Bonus: you can visually test the effectiveness of sunscreen by covering beads, and seeing how long it takes for the UV light to penetrate the sunscreen and change the color! The decorative beads in these sets come in assorted styles. Some may have candy shaped beads, while others may have sea turtles, simple circle designs, and more. We will assort on orders with more than one, when stock allows.
