Description

As I was reading through the beginning of this book, I was surprised how many of these historical persons were unfamiliar. Illustrations are not especially detailed, and the text gives you enough information to want to learn more. This seems like a good book to introduce children to important people in history. They are presented chronologically and would make for a great timeline project! Notes called Explore More! provide a website where you can research further. It’s a good entry point into learning more about world figures. ~Sara
