Description
This suspenseful game of memory and strategy features a pirate-themed voyage of collecting treasure and bringing it safely back to shore. Each player has their own island base which they must launch from and return to. The bases start out empty of treasure and each player takes turns slowly moving their boat to the center island to collect treasure. The water is scattered with whirlpool traps that must be avoided, or else the ship will sink… along with the treasure. The traps consist of 20 metal disks hidden inside the game board. The boats have magnets on the bottom that sends the boat tipping if it goes over a metal disk. When a ship sinks, it must return to its base empty and lose the turn. Players each have 3 buoys which they can place on the board to mark metal disks or to confuse opponents. The first player to reach 8 points (based on collected treasure) or to have the most points at the end of the game wins. The underboard which contains the metal disks comes in four pieces, so that the disks can be moved after each game. Includes the game board, 4 underboards with metal disks, an underboard connecter, 4 magnetic boats, 12 buoys, and 24 treasures. Game play is about 20 minutes. For 2-4 players. ~ Brianna
