Description

Bowl over the competition in this game that pits Viking against Viking! Each player has a token and barrel that corresponds to their color. The barrels are placed in the middle of the board in any configuration desired, and players take turns swatting a large ball to try to knock them over. Each barrel that is hit means the corresponding color player has their token moved along a deck. Every space on the deck either rewards a player with a number of coins or allows them to steal from another player. If the bowling player hits multiple barrels, they decide which order to move the tokens in. They don't always want to hit their own barrel or move first, because a player's token can be moved too far, dumping them off the deck into the water! When a player's token falls off the deck, this triggers the other players to collect their rewards - but whoever fell in the water must swim back to the beginning and does not receive anything! As players accrue coins, they place them in their Viking ship. When the treasure stash is gone, the game ends and the player with the biggest haul wins! Easy rules, a hint of strategy, and physical action make this an exciting game for kids. For 2-4 players with a game time of about 20 minutes. Game includes board, 8 scoring flags, 4 player tokens, 1 Viking-shaped bowling bat, 4 Viking ships, 1 bowling ball, 24 coins, 4 barrels, and instructions for play. ~ Janine
