Description

This exciting new expansion adds the Princess and Profiteer characters and Wonders to build for additional victory points. Also added is an influence board extension to the right of the main board. Influence points will be available substitutes for coins, silver or marble or in place of losing virtue. Also included on the influence board extension are new contribution/consequences cards that determine where the princess and profiteer are located, and provides awards or penalties if worker markers are at board locations where the princess and profiteer markers are visiting when the black market reset takes place. In addition to constructing buildings, there are now five wonder cards and their corresponding wooden markers that are available for building in order to provide significant additional victory points. Because there are new resources and options available, the extension adds six new player boards, which are necessary for playing the advanced user mode. Six new solo mode opponents and the addition of 24 scheme cards (a dedicated feature of solo play) provide a better solo experience. Finally, there are 24 additional apprentice and building cards as well as 12 reward cards. Overall, this great expansion adds complexity, interest and FUN to this already great game. Works of Wonder requires the base game of Architects of the West Kingdom and can be used with or without the Age of Artisan Expansion. For 1-5 players (6 players if played with Age of Artisans), with a playtime of 60-80 minutes.
